Visiting friends in Canberra recently was an absolute pleasure. I hadn’t been to our nation’s capital for almost two decades … and, to be honest, hadn’t really appreciated it on my previous trips.
I guess back then - my days as a cadet newspaper reporter working on The Goulburn Post in regional NSW - I wasn’t really that interested in photography.
But the combined love of photography and architecture I now have means there's plenty to keep me - and my shutter finger - occupied in Canberra these days.
Although only a short stay, in addition to touring the Australian War Memorial, visits to Parliament House and the National Museum of Australia were a must!
